Braulio Hernandez is a Cuban-American director who anchors high-concept spectacle in raw, human reality. Born in Havana and raised in Miami, Braulio’s artistic voice was forged in the clash of two contrasting cultures. He reflects this duality into a unique brand of magical realism that blends the fantastical with the real world.
Braulio’s work has garnered attention on the international festival circuit, with his short film EYES screening at L’Étrange Festival in France and Screamfest at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre. The project was also recognized at the New Generation Miami Film Festival, earning awards for both Best Short Film and Best Director.
A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts, Braulio brings a duality to every set: the instincts of a former actor (Netflix, Nickelodeon, Telemundo) paired with a deep technical fluency in VFX. Whether helming narrative films, music videos, or branded content, he leverages this background to build visually arresting worlds that remain anchored by authentic performance.
